Scary!

My little girl gave me quite the scare last night. The three of us (James, Jolie, & I) were sitting on the couch when Jolie jumped off and screeched. She was running around the room without the use of her back legs. She ran bizarrely right into a pillow on the floor. I picked her up and was comforting her when she started breathing heavily. I placed her on the ground where she then threw up. I thought that was all that was wrong. But I noticed she couldn't stand up and was wobbling all over the place. I tried to get her hind legs to move but they weren't. She was just tipping over. I started crying and yelled at James, "don't touch her" (sorry babe!). He immediately called the vet hospital, but by the time we got off the phone with them she was doing better. It took her a little bit of time to get use in her legs again, but since then she has been fine. We still don't know what happened, but it sure was scary for her mommy and daddy. She was spoiled before and is now being spoiled even more. We are so lucky to have her as our doggy.

Babysitting

This past weekend James and I had the opportunity to watch a 9month old for an entire weekend. It was fun watching James interact with him. Here are some cute pictures I took during a power nap.

Rainy days and wednesdays

I woke up from my 10:30am-1:00pm nap today to find that it was raining! I love when it rains during the day. I can actually enjoy it. Couldn't get a good picture of the rain so I took a picture of the drops on the window. Same good feeling.

So if you haven't noticed, which I am sure you have, my blog has changed. And GUESS WHAT...I did everything by myself. I made my own background, spent hours adjusting sizes in html, then I made my own header, then spent hours figuring how to space it just right. Man o' man it was hard work, but so worth it. Hope you like it?!

James birthday was a little over a week ago. He turned one year older. James is the light of my life and I am so glad I was able to celebrate his birthday with him. I love you James!
